The company’s eye catching stand bought in multiple enquiries that have led to a number of new orders across a wide range of industry sectors.

Technical director, George Dingley said: “We displayed a selection of components machined from a diverse range of materials all produced on equipment located at our facility in Bedfordshire. This drew in a number of interested parties looking to source high precision multi-axis parts from a trusted supplier.”

The ISO 9001 accredited company was formed in 2008, quickly building a reputation as a reliable UK subcontract supplier with customers in industries spanning aerospace, oil and gas, medical and motorsport.

Managing director, Yian Stavrou commented: “After exhibiting at Mach 2012 we knew for a young company the best exposure would be to showcase our products at exhibitions such as Subcon. Over the three days, we were overwhelmed with the amount of traffic to our stand averaging around 20 high prospects visitors per day. We were aware that displaying a proactive ‘can do’ philosophy would reflect the way we run our business on a daily basis. Being able to offer small batch work as well as high volume has resulted in multiple enquiries.”

Next up for Sub-CNC is the expansion of its Dunstable-based facility, doubling the floor space to allow for another 32mm sliding head machine, a purpose-built inspection department and bonded stores for customer materials. The company has also booked stand space for MACH 2014 which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from 7-11 April next year.
