We’re sure most, if not all, of you reading this are well aware of the prices of electricity and how quickly these prices have risen; both domestic and non-domestic lately.

As a machining business with an energy consumption similar to a small village . It made sense to opt for Solar Panels – our building is facing South West, so we are able to take advantage and cover as much of the roof as possible,  for optimum PV absorption!

We’ve had a 45kWh system installed to offset a percentage of our suddenly increased electricity bill. We’re confident this will help with our factory’s energy consumption whilst cutting our carbon footprint – we’ll be producing many of our components with this sun-power!

The system also allows us to store energy within the batteries for use later. We’ve had the system for one month and already planted the equivalent of 21 trees!
